The Wedding Photographer | Joab Smith

March 04, 2014
If you follow us on Twitter you would have seen that I have found and now partly paid for my Wedding Photographer.

I found him through Your Perfect Wedding Photographer, seriously any Bride To Be needs to use this website. Don't be put off by wedding photographers not being in your area, most are willing to travel - mine is.

Joab emailed me back and I checked his work again, we exchanged a few emails and he left me with time to decide on the choosing. I spent most of my weekend on his website and Facebook Page. Dave looked at his photography too (of course). I was pretty sure I wanted to book him but I needed time to process it, I really don't want to be making any whimsy decisions on the photography (that's where my planning started). It wasn't only the photos that were important in making my decision, it was how he communicated via email and his reviews. My favourite being
'... it felt like having a friend at our wedding as a guest rather than a formal photographer.' - Vanessa
I meet Joab for the first time on the 13th April when we have a preshoot, I'm looking forward to sharing the experience of the day on here. If you read my previous post on photography, you'd know that I found it an incredibly tough decision but I think I've chosen well.

Meet Joab Smith Wedding Photographer & a few of my favourite images (there are so many more I like)...

The more I look at these photos the more I like them. I love the colour, the warmth, the focus, the subtle vintage edits, the black and white edits, the emotion, the moments captured that a blink of an eye could have missed. I like the natural shots, the guests enjoying themselves without noticing the camera capturing their bubble. I love the sparkler shots, the confetti shots are so crisp too. It really is worth looking through his albums and I think you'll be surprised at his prices, go on have look here

I'm excited to see my wedding album!
